True to Form…..NEWS Winter 2008

Greeting Patrons,

We at True to Form are happy to announce the beginning of a Disposal Bin Rental Service. We will be renting 4, 10, and 14 yard Disposal Bins to homeowners, contractors, and do-it-yourselfers. Our bin rental service is fully insured and licensed by the Ministry of the Environment. We use biodiesel in our truck as an additional effort to reduce harmful emissions.

Please refer to our Bin Rental Page for a List of Acceptable and Unacceptable Materials as well as an On-Line Order From.

With my experience in the “take it all down and start again approach”, I am overjoyed to offer this service to the public. What could be better than getting rid of the old and starting new? Doing it right, of course, is not a clean or easy job so it is ideal to do it once. Into the bin, call us and it’s gone!

As we at True to Form begin this venture, we encourage any questions or concerns you may have regarding our Bin Rental Service, please feel free to call us 9am to 4 pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm Saturday.

Drop 4 yard (ideal for a bathroom renovation, small jobs, also concrete, brick, and/or rubble) =$150 plus tonnage for waste or Flat Fee $200 for concrete, brick, and/or rubble

Drop 10 yard=$160 plus tonnage

Drop 14 yard=$175 plus tonnage.

Shawn Morren President

True to Form…..NEWS Fall 2007

Hello Fans, Clients, Colleagues, Contractors, and Suppliers,

It is with great pleasure we are starting a news page to let you know that we are keeping up with the website and also to let you know what we are doing and how things are going. And for sure we will be working.

True to Form is pleased to announce a successful 2007 renovation season. Check out some of the new photos for ideas regarding your own renovation or construction project.

In the upcoming months www.shawnmorren.com will be linking up with a number of quality contractors, suppliers, and other informative websites to better help homeowners make sound decisions.

In other news, True to Form will be working in conjunction with the Federal Government’s ECOENERGY program.

The ECOENERGY program offers grants and rebates to residential property owners who improve the energy efficiency of their homes.

Although the rebates are not gigantic they can help with the financial burden of renovating. Also by getting an energy loss audit and then improving your home the improvements to the home are actually measurable. This would not be the case with a conventional renovation. Really the best part of your participation with the ECOENERGY program, besides the money, is that fact that you will be reducing your carbon footprint everyday.

Greetings and Salutations,

Shawn Morren
President
True to Form Renovation Inc.

MORE GOOD NEWS…

The Ontario Provincial Government is now offering to match the Federal
Government dollar for dollar in grants for your upgrades.

The Maximum was 5000 dollars and is now 10 000 dollars

HOW IT WORKS…

1. You will likely want to check the ecoaction.gc.ca and/or order the grant brochure by calling 1 800 387 2000.

2. You need to call an energy auditor such as Amerispec Inspection Services www.amerispec.net/standeaven or www.asktheinspector.ca or www.greensaver.org An inspector does an energy audit to find out where you are losing energy. This includes a blower door test. The test takes about 2 to 3 hours. The going rate for the audit is about 300 dollars, half of which will be rebated back to you the homeowner after the improvements.

3. After the energy inspector is in the home, they will send you a detailed report indicating where improvements can be made.

4. The homeowner then has 18 months in which to complete the upgrades And then requests a retest from the inspector. The homeowner gets an idea of how much they improved the home and is now eligible to receive money back for the eligible upgrades.
